Indonesia has been shown a yellow card, not a red card.
FIFA has imposed an administrative sanction on Indonesia, freezing the disbursement of FIFA Forward funds for the country’s association PSSI until further notice, PSSI chairman Erick Thohir said on Thursday evening after meeting FIFA president Gianni Infantino in Paris.
"I can say nothing but praise to God, by His grace and the prayers from all of the Indonesian people, Indonesia can avoid heavy sanctions of being excluded from global football,” Thohir said. Last month, FIFA withdrew Indonesia's hosting rights for the under-20 World Cup, citing"the current circumstances."
Indonesia does not have diplomatic relations with Israel and is a staunch supporter of the Palestinian cause.
