Gerald Hoye, 43, pleaded guilty to sexual exploitation of a child which was uncovered through a U.S. Secret Service investigation, according to the office of Zachary A. Myers, U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Indiana.
Investigators discovered Hoye, 41 and a truck driver at the time,"coerced and manipulated the child by offering her money in exchange for sexually explicit photos and videos," the U.S. Attorney's Office wrote. As part of his sentence, Hoye was ordered to be under the supervision of the U.S. Probation Office for 10 years after his release. He's also ordered to pay $10,000 in restitution to the victim and register as a sex offender.
