, and people are probably more nervous about this movie now than they were when Spielberg left the project. The early reviews aren't exactly glowing, but something has to be mentioned, and that is a thing known as"festival goggles.
" Anyone who has attended a film festival as a critic knows that you have very little time to think about the film, and the stakes are high. So there is very little room for nuance when you don't have time to really pull your thought together. It will be interesting to see what happens when more people get to see this movie later next month and if those reviews swing higher or lower. Right now, Lucasfilm and Disney are chugging along with the marketing.
