PETALING JAYA: An Indian national who lost his bag while travelling in an e-hailing ride is hoping for a Good Samaritan to return it to him.

Sibchan Kanhiramthanam Varghese, 54, said the business documents and his two mobile phones inside his bag were extremely important.

He said there were US$3,200 and RM600 cash in his bag, along with his Indian passport, house key, and several debit and credit cards. When contacted, the driver said he had no idea the man had left his bag at the backseat, as new passengers boarded his car shortly after dropping him off.“Usually, if any passenger who sits in front had left any belongings in front, I would send it back or to my e-hailing company office.
