India’s palm oil curbs blessing in disguise for Malaysia

IGNORE the noise over India’s palm oil “soft ban” towards processed palm oil , said a commodities expert, as the decision could be a blessing in disguise for Malaysia, a major exporter of the product. This is because India’s decision will create a shortfall for PPO in other markets that Malaysia can fill, said the expert on the sidelines of a palm oil seminar in Kuala Lumpur.
