putrajaya Kementerian Perdagangan Dalam Negeri dan Hal Ehwal Pengguna (KPDNHEP) memaklumkan kekurangan bekalan bawang merah India di negara ini yang mendorong kenaikan harga disebabkan larangan eksport sepenuhnya dari negara pembekal.
Timbalan Pengarah Penguatkuasa Bahagian Penguatkuasa KPDNHEP Rosli Ahmad berkata, larangan itu menyebabkan berlaku kenaikan harga bahan mentah berkenaan selepas India menghentikan eksportnya September lalu.
“Kenaikan harga memang berlaku dan ia bermula sejak September sebaik saja larangan eksport oleh kerajaan India. “Harga stabil sekarang ini sebab pengimport beli daripada negara pembekal, sebahagian besar bekalan dari Pakistan dan China,” katanya.
