This is an even smaller percentage than those who think Trump is guilty ofAs such, there is a slim majority of 51 per cent of independent voters who think Trump should keep running for president.
Trump probably thinks there is just enough doubt around US election results to free him of his actions, at least in the court of public opinion. If a court finds him guilty and sentences him to jail, he can still in theory be president.
