Doctors through the TNG era of Star Trek, from Dr. Beverly Crusher on the USS Enterprise-D to Dr. Julian Bashir at Deep Space Nine to USS Voyager's EMH Doctor , have used Medical Tricorders on screen many times. Why The Medical Tricorder Is So Essential For Star Trek Collectors When it comes to Star Trek collectibles, companies often focus on action figures and models of various ships. While those are fun collectibles that many collectors enjoy, Star Trek fans especially love prop replicas. Screen-accurate replicas of Star Trek gadgets allow Trekkies to feel more like they are a part of their favorite franchise.
Based on the comments under the above tweet, fans seem to be hyped about this release. Not only is the Medical Tricorder a device rarely featured as a collectible, but Factory Entertainment's upcoming version looks and sounds great. Perfect for Star Trek cosplayers or replica collectors, the upcoming Medical Tricorder prop will be an essential addition to many Trekkies' collections.
