The problem of male fertility in Malaysia is allegedly at an alarming level., Deputy Women, Family and Community Development Minister Aiman Athirah Sabu said that this is based on laboratory sperm analysis data from the Malaysian Population and Family Development Board , which found that 60% showed abnormal results.
“The matter directly contributes to the increase in fertility problems in married couples in Malaysia.”since the last 40 years and it is closely related to the fertility rate with the 2021 data of the Department of Statistics Malaysia which shows 1.7 children for every married woman,” she said.
