For the ABC to be “clearly picking a side” in the divisive debate over changing the date of Australia Day is completely inappropriate, according to Sky News Digital Editor Jack Houghton.
“If you had the ABC on, you would have witnessed how much airtime it gave to the push to change the date,” Mr Houghton said.
Mr Houghton said in the lead-up to the country’s national day, Australia’s national broadcaster published an article on how people could choose to “boycott” the holiday and work instead.
