BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN : Brunei King Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah stressed on zero tolerance towards abuse of power and corruption during the the 223rd Board of Directors Meeting of Brunei LNG Sendirian Berhad and the 109th Board of Directors Meeting of Brunei Gas Carriers Sendirian Berhad for the third quarter of 2024.

His Majesty, who chaired the meeting, also highlighted the importance of upholding business integrity during the execution of all business activities, with focus on cost optimisation while driving companies’ performances. Sultan Hassanal also reiterated that shareholders should continue to explore new investment opportunities and identify new technologies to remain competitive.Upon arrival, Sultan Hassanal was greeted Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Amin Liew and Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office Dato Seri Paduka Awang Mohamad Azmi Mohd Hanifah, in their capacity as members of the BLNG and BGC Board of Directors.

During the meeting, critical areas were addressed such as operational performance, safety, financials, and manpower development, while also charting the companies’ strategic direction for the coming years and beyond for both Brunei LNG and BGC. The Brunei king, will also chair the 412th Meeting of the Board of Directors of Brunei Shell Petroleum Sendirian Berhad and the 190th Meeting of the Board of Directors of Brunei Shell Marketing Sendirian Berhad for the Third Quarter of 2024 on Tuesday Sept 10).
