There's Dingdong Dantes and Rocco Nacino, who both played soldiers as Big Boss and Wolf in the Philippine adaptation of "Descendants of the Sun."
Even beauty queens like Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Beatrice Luigi Gomez and Miss Supranational Philippines 2021 Dindi Pajares did not hesitate to trade their gowns for fatigues to serve the country. Other celebrities who proudly wear the uniform are Ronnie Liang, Geneva Cruz, Jason Abalos, Vicki Rushton, John Vic De Guzman, and Matteo Guidicelli.
Be it with the Philippine Army, the Philippine Air Force, or the Philippine Navy, these reservists perform their duty to help Filipino citizens in their own way. Among activities they participate in are relief operations, which they do while balancing their time for work, their family, and friends.
