In Johor, fiance of Perodua Myvi driver pleads guilty for allowing her to drive his car without licence, road tax, insurance

Magistrate Suhaila Shafi'uddin ordered the accused's driving licence to be suspended for a year and imprisonment of 13 months if he fails to pay the fine. The charges were in accordance with Section 26 of the Road Transport Act 1987 and is punishable under Section 26 of the same Act providing for a fine of up to RM2,000 and imprisonment for up to three months or both upon conviction.
Meanwhile, for the third charge, Nuraiman is accused of allowing his fiancée to drive his car which does not have insurance coverage as required under Part IV of the Road Transport Act 1987 at the same place and time.
