The letter, dated January 4, was submitted by lawyer Tan Sri Muhammad Shafee Abdullah as part of Najib’s application at the Court of Appeal to adduce additional evidence to support his claim of the existence of such a supplementary order. Reading the content aloud in court, Muhammad Shafee said the letter dated January 29, 2024 thereby confirmed the “supplementary order” issued by Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, who was the Agong then.

150 Pahang Students Complete Traditional Malay Pahang Drum Training150 primary and secondary school students from Pahang state have successfully completed a course in Traditional Malay Pahang Drumming at various locations since three years ago. The course is an initiative by the National Department of Culture and Arts (JKKN) Pahang to revive and promote the traditional drum, synonymous with accompanying silat Pahang movements, from extinction. This year, 77 students completed the course after fulfilling the requirement of attending a 24-hour course held over several weeks at designated locations, including SK (LKTP) Jengka 12, SMK Maran, and Dewan Orang Ramai Imam Perang Teh Kampung Sanggang, Temerloh. Participants were tested on their ability to play three popular drum rhythms: the sama deras song rhythm, the kambing belaga rhythm, and the raja berangkat rhythm, before receiving their certificates.
