Immigration busts 2 syndicates that cost govt RM7.2 million

THE Immigration Department has busted two syndicates, masterminded by foreigners and a local, for falsifying documents following raids in Selangor. Director-General Khairul Dzaimee Daud said the syndicates’ operations over the last three years caused the government to lose RM7.2 million in levies for temporary employment visit passes in the services sector.
