KUALA PENYU: The Land and Survey Department took action against illegal sand dredging and collection activities in Jalan Bandau, here, on March 25.
Its Director Datuk Bernard Liew said two enforcement teams were dispatched to the site following a public complaint. He said investigations revealed the operators conducted their illegal activity at night.
