During a 14-day school program, a 14-year-old girl admitted to selling her body to 31 men for the sake of credit top-up.
In a recent podcast by Mingguan Wanita, Ustazah Nazirah Abu Bakar, an officer from the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia , shared a shocking story she encountered, in which an underage girl casually admitted that she slept with over 30 men just to get what she wanted.
Ustazah Nazirah was shocked by how casual Siti was, and Siti was blunt about why she was okay with doing so.“She was only 14. I couldn’t imagine what her parents would feel if they heard this.”The teenager revealed to Ustazah Nazirah that she would beat her mum at home after seeing her father doing the same to the woman. Unfortunately, Siti did not just use her bare hands to abuse her mum.
The officer from JAKIM also highlighted that the situations today are not similar to what many of us experienced back then.
