Veneoranto Petroleum Limited, a Nigerian oil firm, has signed an agreement with Venezuelan state-owned PDVSA to develop two natural gas prospects.
The agreement includes the technical and economic feasibility of the development of the Barracuda Area, located in territorial waters and the surface of the Gulf of Venezuela. On his part, the minister of power said both areas total 30 trillion cubic feet , noting that the agreements are exploratory to be able to certify those two deposits.In his remarks, Maduro described the agreement as “joining forces to dream together and build together towards the future”.
