Superman: Legacy gets closer to the comics.

The Man of Steel is getting reimagined for the big screen in 2025, as Corenswet will star in James Gunn's Superman: Legacy, the first official DCU Chapter 1, "Gods and Monsters" movie.
With Superman: Legacy being one of the most highly anticipated DC Universe movies, fans are sharing their excitement for the film. One of those fans is Baki Kaya Art, who did an incredible poster with Corenswet in the style of the iconic cover for All-Star Superman, which Gunn is drawing a lot of influence for his upcoming movie.
Baki Kaya Art also shared a making-of-video where the graphic designer goes through how they adapted the infamous All-Star Superman cover in live-action. Gunn has previously said that if fans want to get a taste of the type of tone Superman: Legacy, All-Star Superman is something people should check out, making the shot of Corenswet in the iconic seated pose all the better.
Since Superman: Legacy will establish that the DC Universe is a world where superheroes are already active, the movie has tapped multiple iconic heroes. Currently, Superman: Legacy is said to feature Guy Gardner, Hawkgirl, Mister Terrific, and Metamorpho, who will be played by Nathan Fillion, Isabela Merced, Edi Gathegi, and Anthony Carrigan, respectively. Without revealing spoilers, Gunn has stressed that these heroes are here to help tell Clark Kent's story better.
If fans are lucky, Gunn will still continue to share a few details here and there across social media, without going into spoiler territory. Once the SAG-AFTRA and Writers Guild of America strikes come to an end, DC Studios will likely get back on track with finishing Superman: Legacy's pre-production in order to meet their early 2024 filming start.
