From a powerhouse creative team Stock Aitken Waterman, producers of some of the biggest tunes of the 80s, the new stage show features music from pop royalty including Kylie Minogue, Rick Astley, Jason Donovan, and Bananarama.
Iconic 80s record producer Pete Waterman announced he is bringing his new musical ‘I Should Be So Lucky’ to Dublin.
“And I've worked with some good writers but they never quite got it..to understand what all the songs were about. “It is a very fun show in a difficult time that we live in right now. The irony is amazing, here we are asking you in a pretty desperate time to come out and enjoy yourself for a couple of hours.”Pete also reminisced on his early career, working with Mel and Kim, fond memories writing hits such as ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’ with a young Rick Astley, I Should Be So Lucky, for Kylie Minogue, and many others.
The return of the Dublin Dance Festival was also announced, with 13 Tongues and the sensational violinist Vladamir Jablokov with Vivaldi’s Four Seasons .
