Actor and rap star Ice T suggested uniforms for Amazon Flex drivers, after he 'almost shot' an Amazon driver for 'creeping up to [his] crib'

: Actor/rapper Ice T gave Amazon some advice on Twitter—which quickly went viral Wednesday, the day of the company’s annual meeting—saying he almost shot an Amazon delivery driver because the worker wasn’t wearing a uniform. “Message To Amazon: Now that you have regular people making your home deliveries.. Maybe they should wear a Vest with AMAZON DELIVERY on it..... I almost shot a MF creeping up to my crib last night.... Just sayin,” he wrote in a tweet.
Amazon’s SVP of operations Dave Clark replied personally, saying that the company is working on “innovations” about the issue and that customers can already track their deliveries on a map. “Just sayin…thanks for the suggestion. We MF’ing love you and our drivers. Lots of innovations coming on this and many that already exist to help you track your package and delivery on a map. Thanks for being a customer,” Clark tweeted.As Amazon builds out a sprawling logistic network, most of the company’s deliveries are made by third-party partner companies or Amazon Flex workers, which are independent contractors akin to Uber drivers.
