Milan menerusi kenyataannya mengesahkan ujian penyerang Sweden itu didapati negatif dua kali berturut-turut, iaitu sebagai sebahagian protokol untuk menamatkan tempoh kuarantin.
Ibrahimovic, 39, menerusi akaun media sosialnya berkata:"Anda sudah pulih! Pihak berkuasa kesihatan berkata tempoh kuarantin sudah berakhir, anda boleh keluar!," tulisnya di Twitter. Pengumuman itu hadir sehari selepas Milan berkata Ibrahimovic positif Covid-19 sekali gus mencetuskan persoalan sama ada dia boleh beraksi apabila bertemu seteru setempat, Inter Milan pada 17 Oktober.Pertembungan setempat itu masih mencetuskan keraguan selepas dua pemain Milan dan lima pemain Inter ketika ini menjalani proses kuarantin.
Ketiadaan Ibrahimovic menyaksikannya Milan tetap bermula baik apabila menduduki tempat kedua Serie A selepas mencatatkan kemenangan dalam kesemua tiga perlawanan liga.
