The concert featured Gerard Salonga conducting the orchestra to every note of the award-winning music of the first film, while the entire movie plays in high-definition on a 40-foot screen above the hall. As soon as the lights dimmed and the orchestra played the familiar music to the opening scene of The Philosopher's Stone live — where Dumbledore leaves baby Harry at Number Four, Privet Drive — I could not help but shed a tear.
