Martine offered the portrait to me but I laughed and was like, “Yeah right, I’ll hang it in my living room.” It was sold through her gallery on the Gold Coast. I don’t know who owns it. Hopefully I’m in a hallway, nowhere more prestigious.Keith approached me out of the blue. We have a lot of mutual friends and I said yes because he’s a Brissie boy and I’m a Queenslander and because it’s a pretty tight knit arts and creative community there. I sat for him about two or three times.
