Deji Adeleke, a prominent businessman and father of Nigerian musician Davido, recently stated that his company contributes significantly
to Nigeria's power supply , generating an estimated 15% of the nation’s electricity.
'I’m in the electricity business; I own power plants. I generate about 15 per cent of Nigeria’s electricity,' Adeleke disclosed, emphasising his investment in sustainable energy infrastructure. This new 1250MW thermal plant is set to become the largest of its kind in Nigeria, aiming to address persistent power shortages and improve reliability for millions of Nigerians.
