Women on social media are catching flak for admitting that they don’t always wash their hands after using the bathroom — though they often pretend to do it.
Sophia spelled it out for her fans: “So I actually go through the process of wasting both water and time just to kind of keep up with a lie that actually doesn’t matter.”Her point of view caused a waterfall of responses and divided users.“Haha don’t most of us secretly do this?” someone pondered. “But you touch the toilet flusher and sink handles after taking a sh-t so cross contamination??” one chimed in.
“Just… wash your hands,” a user simply suggested. “I found my people,” joked another. One added: “Why pretend to wash your hands when you could actually just do it?”TikTok / @sophiashattersonxoxo.A user then interjected and slammed Sophia, calling her “weird” and asked why did she feel the need to share this information.recommends scrubbing one’s hands for at least 20 seconds after going to the bathroom. People should lather on an adequate amount of soap and water to remove germs from hands.
While Sophia has stirred the pot on TikTok, her approach is not the first time it has been referenced.
