Hujan dan ribut petir dijangka berlaku di beberapa tempat di pedalaman dan barat Semenanjung sehingga Jumaat ini. Menurut Jabatan Meteorologi Malaysia (Met Malaysia), berdasarkan analisis model-model cuaca, penumpuan angin dijangka berlaku di Sarawak dalam tempoh itu. Suhu melebihi 35 darjah Celsius masih berpotensi berlaku di beberapa tempat terutamanya di utara Semenanjung dan Sabah.
PETALING JAYA: Hujan dan ribut petir di jangka berlaku di beberapa tempat di pedalaman dan barat Semenanjung sehingga Jumaat ini. Menurut Jabatan Meteorologi Malaysia (Met Malaysia), berdasarkan analisis model-model cuaca, penumpuan angin dijangka berlaku di Sarawak dalam tempoh itu. Katanya, keadaan itu boleh menghasilkan ribut petir serta hujan lebat dan angin kencang di kawasan tersebut terutama pada sebelah petang dan boleh berlarutan hingga ke pagi.
“Namun, suhu melebihi 35 darjah Celsius masih berpotensi berlaku di beberapa tempat terutamanya di utara Semenanjung dan Sabah,” katanya menurut hantaran di laman sosial. Justeru, Met Malaysia menasihatkan orang awam untuk sentiasa merujuk laman webnya dan media sosial rasmi serta memuat turun aplikasi myCuaca bagi maklumat yang terkini dan sahih. – UTUSA
