The Connect2Earth cocktail has been created specifically to celebrate Earth Hour this Saturday and raise funds for the World Wildlife Fund Malaysia.

It isn’t every day you hear someone actually encourage you to drink so when you do get an invitation to, go for it with gusto.Taking a creative approach to celebrate Earth Hour this Saturday, March 30 Hugo’s KL is inviting customers to troop on over to indulge in its specially inspired cocktail called Connect2Earth.

The cocktail, priced at a modest RM15, is a refreshing concoction of vodka, grenadine syrup, pineapple, lime and honey. What’s even better is that with every cocktail sold, Hugo’s KL will donate RM1 to Earth Hour’s charity partner World Wildlife Fund Malaysia. You can start celebrating early too as the cocktail will be made available from midday until late Saturday night, and not only during Earth Hour when people all over the world will be switching off non-essential electric lights in their commitment to preserve the planet.

“Turning the lights off for an hour is a good gesture for Earth Hour, but through the Connect2Earth cocktail and donating RM1 from each sale, we feel like we’re making a greater impact,” said Shukri Jeffri, Hugo’s KL’s F&B Manager.More importantly, the cocktail is environmentally-friendly because it is completely made by hand, Shukri added jokingly.Subscribe to our newsletter and get news delivered to your mailbox.
