Chiefs are known to be long-term admirers of Appollis and could now be a step closer to signing their man! Last window, Chiefs made it no secret that they are interested in bringing Appollis to Naturena. Club Sporting Directorwinger was just one player they wanted from City. The other was believed to be right back. Just last month, various reports claimed that the duo were set to join arch rivalsBut since then, the talk of that deal has gone quiet in what seems to have energised Chiefs.
On Tuesday, this publication reported that Chiefs had made an inquiry to Appollis’ camp. This in an effort to gauge what it would take to bring the player to Naturena. Then on Wednesday a further and bigger update claimed that a bid had been sent to Polokwane. Soccer-Laduma“If you ask me, those are false rumours. But you never know.” Said an insider on the deal speaking to the same publication.
