Huawei has launched its latest flagship smartphones, the Mate 70 series, featuring HarmonyOS Next 5.0, an operating system that does not support Android apps. The series includes the Mate 70, Mate 70 Pro, Mate 70 Pro+, and Mate 70 RS Ultimate Design, each equipped with cutting-edge technology and advanced features.
has launched its latest Mate 70 series of flagship smartphones . There are a total of 4 models which include the Mate 70, Mate 70 Pro, Mate 70 Pro+, and the Mate 70 RS Ultimate Design. These devices come equipped with HarmonyOS Next 5.0, an operating system which is supposedly 'Android-free'. This means these devices will not be able to support Android apps, but customers are still provided with an extensive range of applications within the independent HarmonyOS ecosystem.
Huawei has reportedly secured over 15,000 apps for its ecosystem and aims to expand this number to 100,000 in the coming months. The Mate 70 Pro and Pro+ feature a 6.9-inch 120Hz LTPO OLED display with Full HD+ resolution of 2832×1316 pixels, protected by Huawei’s second-generation Kunlun Glass. The new flagship Kirin 920 chip, featuring a 12-core architecture, powers these devices. The series also includes a robust camera setup and advanced features such as dust and water resistance, stereo speakers, and satellite connectivity
