Fans of smart bands will have something new to look forward to soon. Huawei has announced that it will most likely unveil the Huawei Band 8 in June 2023. The new model promises a lightweight design, comprehensive health monitoring, and more.
In addition, Huawei Malaysia has confirmed that interested Malaysians can pre-order the Huawei Band 8 from 1 to 5 June 2023. During the pre-order campaign, you can purchase the new smart band for RM169. That's an RM50 discount, which you can get via a voucher on Huawei Malaysia's official Lazada store. Based on the dates, we can safely assume the first shipping date to be as early as 6 June 2023.
Anyway, the Huawei Band 8 comes with the same 1.47-inch AMOLED screen as the Huawei Band 7. However, it has a smaller and thinner body , resulting in a higher 65% screen-to-body ratio. It's also slightly lighter at 14g . In terms of features, the smart band will have TruSeen 5.0 heart rate monitoring, TruSleep 3.0 sleep monitoring, 100 workout modes, and 10000 watch faces.
