According to the latest Cecilie Bahnsen collection, you can wear that fluffy dress all year-round.
You can't talk about Copenhagen fashion week without talking about Cecilie Bahnsen, the fashion-crowd-darling designer whose signature ethereal, puff-sleeved dresses have made waves around the world . Some might think these floaty masterpieces, while beautiful, aren't the most practical for a woman's everyday life. But, Bahnsen argued otherwise this season at her show in Denmark, where she gave fans of the brand some ideas on how to make her collection more wearable than ever.
And even though the show's looks felt more complex than in collections prior, the aesthetic actually came off less intimidating. Always a fan of pairing her feminine creations with more practical footwear, the Fall 2020 collection was shown with sneakers and socks, a continuation of her collaboration with comfort-meets-outdoor footwear brand Diemme.
Overall, Cecilie is widening the lens and building upon what she's established thus far. She's clearly thinking about a woman's daily life and wardrobe, and expanding from the idea of floating, voluminous dresses into outerwear, skirts, knitwear, suiting and beyond. And truthfully, we can't wait to see what's next. Ahead, get your gears turning on some fresh ways to make your frilliest pieces work for, well, real life. See our favorite looks.

A few reporters here at Onion Gamers Network recently caught wind of this man dressed as Poliwhirl standing at the corner of Elm and 4th Street, which made us think there must be some kind of Pokémon convention in town. Here’s the thing though: We checked everywhere, and there isn’t even a meet-up in the general vicinity. That means that, as far as we know, this guy must dress like the Stage 1 Water Pokémon all the time, or at least thinks this is an entirely normal thing to do.
