'Night Court' airs on Tuesday nights on NBC. The next episode is called 'Blood Moon Binga.'
NBC says, “A blood moon brings out some of the weirdest cases New York has to offer along with a surprise visitor; Abby’s mom, who’s carrying some secrets; Gurgs suspects Dan knows more than he’s letting on; Olivia and Neil stumble on the truth.”
Melissa Rauch portrays Abby Stone, the daughter of the late Judge Harry T. Stone - the central figure in the original that aired from 1984 to 1992. NBC describes the new sitcom this way, “The eternally optimistic Abby Stone follows in the footsteps of her revered late father, Judge Harry Stone, as she takes on the challenge of overseeing the night shift of a Manhattan arraignment court.”
The “Night Court” staff includes Dan Fielding as the court’s public defender, Olivia as the assistant district attorney, Neil as the “court’s neurotic clerk” and Donna ‘Gurgs’ Gurganos [Lacretta], the sharp-witted bailiff.
