The remake of 'Night Court' airs Tuesdays on NBC.
NBC describes the new sitcom this way, “The eternally optimistic Abby Stone follows in the footsteps of her revered late father, Judge Harry Stone, as she takes on the challenge of overseeing the night shift of a Manhattan arraignment court.”
The “Night Court” staff includes Dan Fielding as the court’s public defender, Olivia as the assistant district attorney, Neil as the “court’s neurotic clerk” and Donna ‘Gurgs’ Gurganos [Lacretta], the sharp-witted bailiff.The synopsis is, “Abby makes a mistake in court and decides to take a no-nonsense approach to get things back on track, but her abrupt change in demeanor throws everyone for a loop.
