Tuesday was hot; Wednesday could be even hotter. Here are the forecast high temperatures for Wednesday, Sept. 21. Most of Alabama will be well into the 90s again.The month of September has continued its cruel tradition in Alabama of teasing fall and then taking it away. Far, far away. High temperatures across the state on Tuesday were mostly in the 90s -- and some spots came perilously close to the triple-digit mark.
North Alabama got the award for hottest temperatures on Tuesday, with Muscle Shoals hitting 98 degrees and Huntsville at 97 degrees.Highs on Wednesday are again forecast to rise well into the 90s, and some spots could be a degree or two hotter than today, according to the National Weather Service.
