Orlando Pirates will begin their pre-season campaign against Plymouth Argyle this evening, and here are two ways in which you can watch it!
Pirates have flown over to Spain for the second pre-season in a row, after a successful camp there last season. . The Buccaneers started in very encouraging fashion, with a victory against the Israelites. They then followed that up with a 3-1 win over Independiente del Valle. Their last game being a 0-0 draw. Now after enjoying that experience, Pirates look to have stepped it up a notch ahead of the next season. This comes after an announcement from seven-timewinners.
But before that fixture, Pirates will have to take one lower league English side Plymouth tonight. This should be an interesting test for the Buccaneers and their coaching staff. The lower league sides from England are known to bring physicality and a direct approach. That will help Jose Riveiro assess how his players can front up to a physical battle fro Wayne Rooney’s men.
