Houston's most exclusive hotel suites for Final Four and Astros' Opening Day cost as much as $120K
If not for the weekend's sports lineup, the suite would go for $25,000-$30,000 per night and it's routinely rented for several nights a month by visiting sheiks, celebrities and other wealthy people.
In the past few years, the Four Seasons has gotten a top-to-bottom makeover to mark its 40th anniversary in Houston. Acclaimed designer Lauren Rottet and her Rottet Studio handled the redesign of the 400-plus guest rooms and suites, and the hotel replaced its Quattro restaurant with Pan-Latin steakhouse Toro Toro.
A 34-story residential tower replaced the Grand Salon, and it has 18 hotel suites. There are some separate bungalows, decorated like small apartments, but the primo suites are in the art-filled mansion. The three best are the Cezanne, Monet and Renoir suites. Mansion suites usually run $750 to $800 a night on weekends, but will be $1,200 to $1,500 for Final Four weekend. Right now they're all available, though most of the tower suites are booked.
