Amen Thompson became the fifth player in four years to receiver Rookie Team honors as a member of the Houston Rockets.
received Second Team NBA All-Rookie honors for the 2023-24 season. Thompson's honor marked the fourth consecutive year the Rockets had at least one player to make an All-Rookie team selection. He joins Jae'Sean Tate , Jalen Green , Tari Eason and Jabari Smith Jr. .
"It was good growth and a learning process for him — especially later on when he was inserted into the starting lineup," Udoka said in April. "There were some things he wasn't accustomed to.
