A game room owner was shot and robbed Wednesday night in southwest Houston business strip, according to Houston Police Department officials. Two men showed up around 9:30 p.m. to the game room at 3419 West Orem Drive and approached the owner, who was sitting at the front desk. One of the two men pulled out a gun, Sgt Ignacio Izaguirre told Metro Video Services. The two men took money and property from the game room, Izaguirre said. The motive of the shooting appeared to be robbery, he said. The two men fled the game room after the robbery. It was unknown as of Wednesday night if they left on foot or in a vehicle.
