Inspire Homes, a new brand of the Dinerstein Cos. specializing in single-family build to rent communities, announced initial projects in Texas and Florida. A rendering shows a new community in Wildwood, Fla.Several Houston-based developers are expanding their portfolios with new build-to-rent communities to provide options for renters who want the lifestyle of living in a suburban community without the commitment of a mortgage.
“The build-to-rent fundamentals have been phenomenal and single-family build-to-rent has continued to prove itself as a solid niche with real runway and longevity within the rental housing market,” Brad Dinerstein, the firm’s managing partner of development and design, said in an announcement Friday.
“The location of the Preserve is ideal for Ascendant’s build-to-rent product and provides its residents with ample opportunity for entertainment, shopping and dining options, all just minutes away,” Ascendant Principal and co-founder Richard Owen said in an announcement last week. “With the high barriers to entry in the Missouri City/Sienna Plantation area, we believe the Preserve at HW6 will be a successful addition to our growing build-to-rent portfolio.
