A housewife in Pasir Mas, Malaysia, was startled by the appearance of a 1.4m-long crocodile in a stream near her house. The reptile reappeared after initially disappearing, prompting the woman to contact the fire and rescue department. Authorities advise residents to remain vigilant and report any sightings of wild animals.
KOTA BARU: A housewife was stunned by an encounter with a 1.4m-long crocodile in a stream at the front of her house at Lorong Masjid Tal 7, Pasir Mas on Tuesday "I was stunned when I realised it was a crocodile. I quickly informed the residents, and soon after, many of them came to see the animal for themselves," she said.
"It reappeared after my dog barked repeatedly. I was afraid the crocodile might harm my dog, so I immediately contacted the fire and rescue department," she said. Meanwhile, Pasir Mas Fire and Rescue Station operations commander Adnan Muhammad Juri said they received the emergency call at 9.02 am on Wednesday.
