House suspends Teves for 60 days anew, strips him of all committee memberships

Negros Oriental 3rd District Rep. Arnolfo Teves Jr. has been suspended for an additional 60 days by the House of Representatives, following his failure to appear before the House committee on ethics and privileges once again. | GabrielLaluINQ

Aside from the suspension, the committee report — presented by the panel chair and COOP NATCCO party-list Rep. Felimon Espares — also stated Teves would be stripped of all his committee memberships.

He had cited security concerns after a Special Investigation Task Group tagged him as the mastermind in the killing of Negros Oriental governor Roel Degamo.
