Raymond Diaz, former promoter at Casa De Locos, and his roommates in 2017 began hosting house shows. One of their craziest shows, Diaz said, brought about 300 people to the four-bedroom house with a big backyard. Police would sometimes knock on the door or drive by, but the house never got in any trouble for their shows, Diaz said. And even when roommates moved out, the house continued to throw punk and heavy metal shows.
