In a statement, Presidential Communications Secretary Cheloy Velicaria-Garafil said that the President met with the two leaders of Congress “to catch up on the administration’s legislative agenda and plans for 2023.
”Citing data from the Presidential Legislative Liaison Office, Garafil said that as of Jan. 18, 10 out of the 20 priority legislative bills laid out by the President during his State of the Nation Address last year have been passed by the House of Representatives and transmitted to the Senate.
