A devastating house fire in Ulu Tiram, Johor, resulted in the tragic deaths of three family members. A 13-year-old boy was the sole survivor, suffering burns to his face and hands. Firefighters responded to the call at 2:46 AM, battling the blaze for over two hours before extinguishing it at 5:10 AM. The deceased included an 11-year-old girl, her 30-year-old father, and her 63-year-old grandmother.
In an official statement by the Johor State Firefighter and Rescue Department, the firefighters managed to rescue a 13-year-old boy who was hiding in the living room during the fire. He was the sole survivor in the tragic incident that robbed him of 3 other family members in the house.
Additionally, the fire also took the life of a 63-year-old woman, the mother of the deceased man, and the grandmother of the teenagers. The statement also revealed that the fire department received the call at 2:46 AM and reached the scene in less than 15 minutes. The firefighters took over two hours to put out the fire before the operation ended at 5:10 AM this morning .
