The attorney general may now boycott Thursday’s hearing on the Mueller report.
The House Judiciary Committee on Wednesday teed up a clash with the Justice Department that could make Attorney General William Barr a no-show for his hearing before the Democrat-led panel.
“It will permit this committee to examine the facts thoroughly,” said Rep. Jerry Nadler , the chairman of the panel. “If a staff member wants to ask questions, run for Congress,” said Rep. Doug Collins of Georgia, the top Republican on the Judiciary Committee.
