House Democrats helped avert a government shutdown, amid 'brinkmanship' and 'theater' by hard-line conservatives, Biden budget director Shalanda Young argued

After increasingly urgent deliberations in the House, Republicans on Saturday introduced a stopgap funding bill that will fund the government until Nov. 17, a near "clean" continuing resolution that did not include the priorities of some in the party. "Let me tell you, there were over 200 Democrats who saved us from shutdown. Go look at the votes," Young said on "This Week."
