Three lawmakers on Monday filed a bill reverting the school calendar back to June to March starting school year 2024 to 2025 amid difficulties to hold classes in the heat of the summer season. Know more:

She added that the current calendar also affects the country’s agriculture sector, as students are unable to participate in farming activities during the planting season. “We need to ensure that the return to the previous school calendar will be implemented in a safe and effective manner, with strict adherence to health protocols and guidelines,” she said.
