PETALING JAYA: With flourishing occupancy during the festive season, hotels and resorts have ushered in the Year of the Rabbit on a high note.

Selery Itin Mingat, a guest service assistant at a hotel in Santubong, said that the resort was packed with lots of local and international visitors.

“This is a good sign, certainly. This is good for business and will generate more revenue for us,” she said when contacted yesterday.“We had the arrival of a big group from Poland, and the resort will provide various activities and programmes in conjunction with the Chinese New Year.Malaysian Association of Hotels president Christina Toh said that response has been positive for hotels during this period.
