Hotel kosong selama beberapa bulan susulan sekatan perjalanan di seluruh dunia bagi membendung wabak Covid-19.
Bercakap kepada FMT, beliau berkata, kira-kira 20 hotel telah ditutup, selain menambah bahawa ia bukanlah perkembangan yang memeranjatkan. “Namun kesan Covid-19 sangat cepat dan ramai pengusaha terpaksa meninggalkan industri,” katanya, selain menambah bahawa pemain industri menjangka tempoh pemulihan akan mengambil masa antara 6 bulan hingga 1 tahun.
Shaharuddin berkata, mereka yang membeli hotel yang kini dijual mahu mengubahnya menjadi apartmen dan bangunan perniagaan.
